Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of departmental manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing.
• Proven ability to coach others and promote teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Strong public speaking, leadership, and training skills.
• Ability to identify processes and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participates and leads Six Sigma, Kaizen and Safety teams/events.
• Assists in problem definition, measurement and analysis.
• Audits and validates production processes and trains to documented standards.
• Documents processes through standard work and trains others.
• Supports on-the-job training and daily department instructions.
• Ensures safety compliance and housekeeping.
• Assists other departments as needed and performs other duties.
