Job summary

Cascades in Pryor, Oklahoma is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead lean initiatives across the Tissue team. You will coach teams, drive cost savings, and apply DMAIC methodology to optimize operations.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI or SAP. Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus; telecommuting options and flexible schedules support work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background with strong understanding of operations and lean principles.
  • Excel proficiency is mandatory.
  • Power BI or SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to coach teams and build systems within a strong leadership team.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for coaching the rigorous usage and ongoing improvement of lean manufacturing tools in the Pryor Paper Mill and Converting Plant.
  • Conduct quarterly loss analyses to identify top opportunities, lead cost savings initiatives, and ensure site action plans are well aligned with the most impactful opportunities.
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching on rigorous usage of foundational lean tools – PerformEx as a way of working every day.
  • Execute regular loss analysis data drilldowns to identify key opportunities for improvements.
  • Serve as the problem-solving lead for helping teams solve complex issues following a DMAIC process.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
