Purpose
The Continuous Improvement Manager will be an integral part of a newly formed group in the company, Business Optimization & Analytics. This team’s priority is to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The individual in this position will be accountable for driving greater efficiency in operations, delivering cost savings, and providing information that will support a company on a path of aggressive growth and transformation. All improvement opportunities should be evaluated through the lens of our customers, directly or indirectly improving our customers’ experience, and support the strategic direction of the company. There will be a heavy focus on analytics—using data to understand business performance, identify problems, and drive decisions. Translating information into understandable and actionable insights is key. This individual must be comfortable with all types of work and environments, including, but not limited to: office/desk work, on the distribution center and print shop floors, data analysis, leading projects, coaching others, and facilitating meetings with senior leadership. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader who is inquisitive, enthusiastic about improving the way we do business, and can create momentum in the organization for operational excellence.
