Responsibilities:
- Play key role in driving and supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, optimize processes, and improve overall performance.
- Analyze and evaluate existing workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze and evaluate existing distribution center processes, workflows, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct time studies, data analysis, and process mapping to gain insights into current performance and areas for enhancement.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and cycle time.
- Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings and identify trends and patterns.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects and initiatives within distribution center.
- Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of process inefficiencies, errors, or bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement effective solutions that address root causes and drive sustainable improvement.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for various distribution center processes.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify opportunities for leveraging technology, automation, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in distribution center operations.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Establish performance metrics and targets aligned with distribution center goals. Monitor and track performance, provide regular reports, and communicate progress, achievements, and areas requiring attention to management and stakeholders.
- Support change management efforts by assisting in the development and implementation of change plans.
10% domestic travel required.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of study and
- 5 years of progressive experience in Continuous Improvement Management, Operational Excellence and Project Management or related. Employer will accept a
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of study and
- 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement Management, Operational Excellence and Project Management or related in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- working in a distribution center, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- data analysis using tools to include SQL or data visualization software to analyze and interpret operational data.
- continuous improvement methodologies, to include Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen and applying them to drive process improvements.
- identifying root causes, implementing problem solving techniques, proposing solutions and measuring the impact of the improvements.
- working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering results within established timelines.
- developing and documenting standard operating procedures for various distribution center or manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring SOPs are updated, communicated, and adhered to by relevant stakeholders.
- conducting know-how training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- providing training on SOPs. supporting change management efforts by assisting in the development and implementation of change plans.
- engaging stakeholders, addressing concerns, and facilitating the adoption of new processes and practices.
