Insight Global is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for our manufacturing client in Cleveland, OH. This on-site role runs 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, focusing on quality and compliance initiatives, documentation, training records, audits, and continual improvement projects.

You will coordinate actions across operations, support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 programs, manage corrective actions, track KPIs, and promote a culture of quality with production teams and leadership.

Location: Cleveland, OH (On-site, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

Day to Day:

A manufacturing client is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join their team! This individual will act as a project coordinator for quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring documentation, training records, corrective actions, and quality procedures are properly maintained and followed. Responsibilities will include supporting audit readiness efforts, assisting with ISO and IATF compliance initiatives, driving quality awareness throughout the facility, and working closely with operators and leadership to strengthen the organization's quality culture. The role will also help manage customer complaints, quality-related follow-up activities, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement projects while promoting employee understanding of quality expectations and standards. This is a full-time, on-site position in Cleveland, OH, working approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Must Haves:

• Manufacturing industry experience with exposure to plant or factory environments
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards
• Experience supporting quality systems, compliance programs, documentation control, audits, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience participating in internal, customer, or third-party audits
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage production employees, operators, and leadership teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive action items to completion, and coordinate cross-functional projects
• Experience maintaining quality records, procedures, training documentation, and compliance-related documentation
• Experience training employees on quality procedures, compliance requirements, and quality system expectations

Plusses:

• Experience within the automotive manufacturing or automotive coatings industry
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 standards
• Experience supporting IATF 16949 certification efforts, gap assessments, or audit preparation
• Background in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), customer complaint investigations, and root cause analysis
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies
• SAP experience
• Experience driving quality culture initiatives and employee engagement programs on the manufacturing floor

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
