Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for a 6-month W2 contract onsite in Fairfield, OH. The role focuses on championing and driving improved manufacturing processes and smart factory deployments across front-end, core operations and production systems.

You will lead plant-wide CI strategy, oversee Kaizen events, partner with IPM and global leaders, and drive productivity plans to meet DL targets while advancing manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• 4+ years of production systems experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing tools and agile project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-wide continuous improvement strategy from tendering to delivery.
• Animate Kaizen events and lead initiatives to improve operational processes.
• Be the point of contact for smart factory solutions and collaborate with IPM/global leaders.
• Define and execute productivity plans to achieve direct labor targets and manufacturing excellence.
• Map current and future state value streams, report productivity, and drive transversal actions to reduce lead times.

Our client, a global leader in energy management, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead. This role is fully onsite in Fairfield, OH, operating on first shift.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits!*

As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for championing and driving the continuous improvement of high-impact operational processes and production systems.You’ll serve as the key contact for smart factory solutions, oversee Kaizen and productivity initiatives, and ensure the sustainability ofmanufacturingplant processes, including front-end, core operations, and smart factory deployment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead manufacturingplant-wide continuous improvement strategy from tendering to delivery
• Animate, challenge, and follow Kaizen events; lead select initiatives to drive operational process enhancement
• Serve as the point of contact for smart factory solutions, working closely with IPM and global smart factory leaders on deployment in the plant
• Define and execute yearly productivity action plans to achieve Direct Labor Productivity targets, as well as implement manufacturing excellence concepts
• Manage current and future state Value Stream Mapping,report productivity results, and subsequentlyleadtransversal actions to improve product lead time

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience with production systems in industrial mechanical, electric assembly, and/or automotive manufacturing
• Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, Kaizen, etc. as well as Microsoft Office
• Advancedexperience in Agile Methodologies and project management
