Join us! As our next Continuous Improvement Manager Carthage, reporting to the Head of Operations, Carthage, you will apply and spread continuous improvement knowledge in your respective unit and build the required CI capabilities through training and certification. As the CI Manager, you will lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within your department to embed best practices, reinforce a continuous improvement mindset, and streamline non-value-added activities. This position is located in Carthage Site in Cincinnati.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Business Alignment: Help design site strategies, align global, regional, and functional strategies into the site strategy, select and prioritize improvement initiatives, allocate resources, and set up governance for strategy deployment.
  2. People Engagement: Establish positive contact with CI for all employees, enable engagement, promote good practice sharing, and introduce coaching in Visual Performance Management System for all departments.
  3. Capability Building: Develop people via training, coaching, mentoring, and manage certification and recognition events for CI methodologies.
  4. Problem Solving: Coach project teams in problem-solving techniques, support problem identification, and set up governance for improvement projects.
  5. Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance reviews at various levels, defining relevant indicators.
  6. Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA): Train, coach, and assess in the CIMA journey.
  7. Process Efficiency: Train, coach, and inspire teams to apply CI tools for process and asset improvements, manage debottlenecking, and identify opportunities.
  8. Work Standard: Support development of CI-related standards, enable teams to apply and comply, and promote sharing of standards.
  9. Business Impact: Lead or support business improvement projects, manage project pipelines, monitor progress, and consolidate benefits.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Industrial, Food, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
  • Green Belt certification or equivalent.
  • 4 to 7 years of overall work experience, including 2-3 years in Lean Six Sigma implementation.
  • Experience leading improvement projects, training, coaching, assessing.
  • Exposure to cross-functional teams and projects.

Additional Qualifications:

  • People management experience.
  • Black Belt certification.
