Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement leader to guide plant CI efforts that enhance Safety, Quality and Reliability.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to high-impact projects, mentor teams, and collaborate with cross-functional units to deliver measurable savings. You will support capital projects, develop control plans, and ensure adherence to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles, while traveling occasionally for training and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of proven, successful leadership of teams.
Manufacturing experience and ability to guide teams to actionable solutions.
Strong communication, negotiation and written skills.
Experience developing/reengineering business processes from current to future state.
Black Belt certification and level 8 requirements in CI training manual.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate CI efforts across plant to improve Safety, Quality and Reliability (SQR).
Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and DMAIC to projects with annual savings.
Create control plans to produce sustainable gains and support capital projects.
Mentor teams on CI and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Travel occasionally for CI training and leader conferences.
Ensure compliance with Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
