Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to provide technical support for incident and deviation investigations across its Michigan manufacturing sites. You will lead root-cause analyses, implement corrective and preventive actions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply Lean Six Sigma to drive measurable process improvements while ensuring cGMP and FDA compliance.

This role requires strong communication, data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing/recommending process improvements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience preferred
• Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work with staff at all levels; strong technical writing
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to identify root causes of incidents and deviations
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential improvements in manufacturing processes
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements
