Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Plastics Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, or production operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data-driven problem solving with Lean and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP data analysis.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with deadlines and urgency.
• Capable of mentoring and coaching personnel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities in quality, throughput and cost.
• Apply 80/20 discipline to focus on key parts, presses, and processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Develop and standardize work instructions and SOPs; ensure sustainment.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Tooling, Quality, Materials, and Engineering.
• Provide guidance to 3rd shift operators and floor leaders during overlap.
• Own shift handoff and ensure accurate reporting for next shift.
• Serve as SME for Plant D ERP implementation and go-live support.
• Maintain presence on shop floor and reinforce safety and productivity standards.
• Support Kelch Strategic Capabilities and related operating metrics.
