Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for our Morristown, TN facility. The role targets professionals with 5+ years in continuous process improvement and strong mentorship abilities. A BSIE or equivalent experience is required, with Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Minitab is expected. You will lead CI events, mentor staff, perform statistical analyses, and drive standard work and line balance improvements to boost throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• BSIE or BS and equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Continuous Process Improvement with demonstrated success.
• Experience and capability to mentor others utilizing continuous improvement tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Standard Work, 3S, Pull Systems, 1 piece flow, 8 types of waste, kanban implementation, line balance, OEE, SMED).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab).
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement events and initiatives across production lines.
• Mentor team members in CI tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Conduct statistical analyses to drive process improvements and OEE gains.
