Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We currently seek skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. If you are excited to build a long-term career, Fischbach is for you!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee new plant equipment installation
  • Work with OEM on modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Assist in Technical training of Plant Maintenance.
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues that arise and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with various departments to identify opportunities for process enhancement and manage projects to achieve targeted results.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement by engaging people in improving the business. Developing the site team through hands-on improvement projects combined with relevant training in all manufacturing, support, and administrative functions.
  • Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedure, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations for improvement to Leadership Team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving as well as ability to troubleshoot independently
  • Ability to optimize manufacturing processes to improve product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce scrap rates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of programming and control systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Be able to calculate ROI for projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, plastics related field, or relevant work experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to self-manage, organize and prioritize
  • 3 years of experience in implementation of operational improvement within the manufacturing environment
