Continuous Improvement Engineer

Our client is a global supplier of specialty chemicals and a leader in refining. They currently seek a hands-on engineer for a Continuous Improvement Engineer position at their facility roughly 450 miles from Pittsburgh, PA.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Identify areas of improvement and process optimization
• Lead improvement projects
• Manage ISO90001 systems and standards
• Drive Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Gather and analyze data for process improvements

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 + bonus

Job Requirements

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or other relevant degrees
• 1+ years of experience working as a Process and/or Production Engineer in a chemical plant or refinery
• Previous experience identifying areas of process improvements
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies
• Experience with ISO9001 is preferred
