Job summary

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Generac in Augusta, GA will drive and support process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and distribution. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading workshops, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and maintaining dashboards and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, quality or similar roles.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with Lean tools and process mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities.
• Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen projects.
• Coordinate workshops and value stream mapping sessions.
• Monitor KPIs and cost savings to measure ROI.
• Document current and future-state processes and SOPs.
• Communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain improvements.
