Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator in Georgia to drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA across manufacturing and distribution. You will support opportunities, lead workshops, map value streams, and ensure measurable gains in quality, safety, and efficiency.

This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to maintain SOPs and dashboards while tracking cost savings and ROI for projects.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, or quality.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5 Whys, DMAIC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word.
  • Excellent communication and change-management abilities.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze process-improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma Kaizen initiatives and value stream mapping.
  • Coordinate workshops and root-cause analysis activities.
  • Ensure measurable improvements align with organizational goals.
  • Collect and interpret performance data; maintain dashboards and KPIs.
  • Track cost savings, efficiency gains and ROI of projects.
  • Prepare summaries and leadership presentations.
  • Document current and future-state processes; maintain SOPs.
  • Support compliance with internal standards and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with DC leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support change-management efforts.
  • Communicate project updates, progress and results to key stakeholders.
