Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of business continuity (BC) and IT disaster recovery (ITDR) capabilities across critical federal operations. You will conduct impact analyses, assess risks, and identify resiliency gaps across applications, infrastructure, facilities, and vendor services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in business continuity, ITDR, or related risk management roles.
• Solid understanding of BC/DR principles, risk assessments, BIA, and ITIL framework.
• Proven ability to develop, document, and maintain continuity plans and run exercises.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership and audits.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise continuity and IT disaster recovery policies, standards, and playbooks aligned with NIST, ISO, and government regulations.
• Perform business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify critical functions and dependencies.
• Coordinate creation, maintenance, and periodic review of continuity and recovery plans across services.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate tabletop exercises, simulations, and failover tests; drive remediation.
• Collaborate with IT ops, cybersecurity, incident response, and vendors to embed continuity into projects.
• Produce continuity metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership and compliance.
• Lead or support investigations following incidents and guide corrective actions.
• Provide training and mentorship on resilience best practices to IT teams.
