Job summary

Houston Community College is seeking an experienced program administrator to oversee designated programs, supervise staff, and coordinate marketing, recruitment, and curricula development aligned with community and industry needs.

You will develop partnerships with business, industry and community agencies, monitor performance, compile reports, and support grant opportunities. Strong communication, planning and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
• Associate degree or 60 college credits plus 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 4 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist managing program(s) as needed and develop, prepare and execute marketing plans to promote courses and increase enrollment.
• Coordinate program activities including monitoring resources, events, facility usage and testing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with staff, other HCC offices and external partners.
• Collaborate with staff and others as necessary to implement program initiatives.
• Compile, review and report statistical data and monitor goals and outcomes.
• May supervise staff and participate in grant proposals for assigned programs.
