Job summary

KBR in Herlong, CA seeks a Production Control Clerk (Contingency) to support TACOM program operations. The role handles maintenance and production control tasks, tracks workload, materials, and schedules, ensuring timely execution of maintenance programs under contract.

Position is contingent on award. The candidate will develop cost estimates, manage production routes, monitor funding, and coordinate with multiple teams to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with manuals and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Typically 2-4 years of experience in production control, maintenance administration, logistics, or related field.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical instructions, manuals, and regulatory guidance.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Help develop cost estimates at the request of depot customers.
Coordinate and assist with pre-production and pre-planning meetings.
Assist in developing production schedules and keep them updated.
Monitor program funding, costs incurred, and funds remaining.
Record discrepancies in funding, schedules, or quality with the appropriate supervisor.
Create and update production routes and bills of materials for the depot operating system.
Notify other depot organizations when a maintenance program order is ready to open or close.
Reconcile data and ensure labor hours are charged correctly prior to closeout.
