Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Production Control Clerk to provide administrative and technical support for TACOM maintenance and production control operations. The role tracks workload, schedules, and material requirements to ensure timely completion of maintenance programs at the depot level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of experience in production control, maintenance administration, logistics, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical instructions, manuals, and regulatory guidance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and supervisors.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates at the request of depot customers.
• Coordinate pre-production and pre-planning meetings.
• Assist in developing and updating production schedules.
• Monitor program funding and report discrepancies.
• Create and modify production routes and bills of materials.
• Notify depot organizations when maintenance orders are ready.
• Reconciling data and ensuring labor hours are charged correctly.
• Assist in estimating man-hours and materials for programs.
• Support planning with engineers, supply specialists, and other controllers.
• Identify causes of production issues and recommend improvements.
