Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Detroit invites a passionate Contingent Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our multidisciplinary team.

As a contingent, you will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and clinicians in a clinic-based setting, with no travel to homes, Monday–Friday hours, and opportunities for a productivity bonus. We support ongoing professional growth with free CEUs and leadership pathways.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• We do not participate with Medicare part B, therefore, we can readily accept Clinical Fellows!

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.
