Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Dearborn Heights is seeking a passionate Contingent Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and help children reach their fullest potential.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with families and other clinicians in a clinic setting with flexible hours, no travel to homes, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child’s needs.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.
