Willow Valley Communities is seeking a Part-Time Buffet Server to help create a welcoming dining experience for Residents and guests at our Lakes and Manor Campuses. Join a caring Culinary Services team dedicated to friendly, professional service. No experience required; training provided. Shifts at Spring Run and North Building with evening/weekend hours. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Portray a professional image in mannerisms and dress, according to Culinary Services dress code.
• Provide prompt, courteous service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
• Work in conjunction with other Team Members to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Complete set-up side work as assigned.
• Escort Residents and guests to their tables, pour ice water, greet diners, and announce daily specials.
• Take verbal beverage orders tableside, assemble orders on trays, and properly serve hot and cold beverages.
• Observe diners and respond to requests while clearing used dishes throughout meal service.
• Carry trays and bus tubs of dirty dishes to the dish room.
• Clear and reset tables throughout meal service and prepare dining areas for the next group of diners and meal period.
• Complete clean-up side work as assigned.
• Assemble and deliver sick box meals to Residents' apartments.
• Set up, serve, and clean up banquets or special functions as needed.
• Follow Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment; transporting food, supplies, and trash; and preparing and serving food.
• Complete tasks required by the Daily Sanitation checklist.
• Assist in other departments, including the kitchen and dish room, as needed.
• Attend Team meetings, in-services, and training sessions regularly.

Wage

$14.00 per hour

What You'll Do

Spring Run

• 2-3 days per week
• Every other weekend and holiday
• Monday-Saturday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Option 2

North Building

• 2-3 weekdays
• Wednesdays and Fridays required
• Monday-Saturday: 4:15 PM - 8:15 PM
• Sunday: 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM or 11:15 AM - 3:15 PM
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Option 3

North Building

• 2-3 weekdays
• Tuesdays and Fridays required
• Monday-Saturday: 4:15 PM - 8:15 PM
• Sunday: 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM or 11:15 AM - 3:15 PM
