Job summary

SERVPRO of New Hanover is seeking a motivated team member for our Contents Division. This hands-on role focuses on cleaning, packing, and restoring belongings after property damage. You will work closely with a team to help customers recover quickly and restore their property to pre-loss condition.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to complete a background check. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and set up staging area.
• Communicate with management and technicians to maintain production processes.
• Perform production processes including moving furniture and cleaning.
• Perform end-of-day cleanup and leave jobsite orderly.

Skills

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly

Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
