Servpro of Douglasville is hiring a Contents Cleaning Restoration Technician to work on-site, handling cleaning and restoration tasks for homes and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, or other incidents.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects; a valid driver’s license is required. You will work as part of a team, following safety protocols and company procedures to restore belongings and spaces effectively.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50–100 pounds regularly and work at various heights.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize homes and residential properties after damage or restoration work.
• Perform general cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Remove debris, damaged materials, and contents as directed.
• Pack, organize, clean, and move household contents when needed.
• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and other restoration projects.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and products safely and properly.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize homes and residential properties after damage or restoration work.
• Perform general cleaning, including floors, walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Remove debris, damaged materials, and contents as directed.
• Pack, organize, clean, and move household contents when needed.
• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and other restoration projects.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and products safely and properly.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Protect customers' belongings and property while working.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Complete job documentation and follow instructions from the project manager or supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and professionally.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
