Job summary

Servpro of Douglasville is seeking a Contents Cleaning Restoration Technician to join our on-site team in Villa Rica, GA. You will help restore homes after water, fire, or smoke damage, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning, packing, and protecting customers' belongings, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with documentation under the project manager's direction. A valid driver’s license is required; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly.
• Work in restoration environments safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize homes and residential properties after damage or restoration work.
• Perform general cleaning, including floors, walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Remove debris, damaged materials, and contents as directed.
• Pack, organize, clean, and move household contents when needed.
• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and other restoration projects.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and products safely and properly.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Protect customers' belongings and property while working.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Complete job documentation and follow instructions from the project manager or supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and professionally.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
