Servpro of Douglasville is hiring a Contents Cleaning Restoration Technician to clean and restore residential properties after damage, pack and move contents, and work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently.

Responsibilities include using cleaning equipment safely, following safety guidelines, documenting work, and maintaining vehicles. Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration/cleaning is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize homes and residential properties after damage or restoration work.
• Perform general cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture and other surfaces.
• Remove debris and damaged materials as directed.
• Pack, organize, clean and move household contents when needed.
• Assist with water, fire, smoke and other restoration projects.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools and products safely and properly.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Protect customers' belongings and property while working.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Complete job documentation and follow supervisor instructions.
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize homes and residential properties after damage or restoration work.
• Perform general cleaning, including floors, walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Remove debris, damaged materials, and contents as directed.
• Pack, organize, clean, and move household contents when needed.
• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and other restoration projects.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
