Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Content Writer to curate, develop, write and proof content across marketing channels, with expertise in SEO writing and AI tools to support content development while maintaining Hy-Vee's brand voice.

You will collaborate with the content team and marketing partners to develop original campaign ideas, manage the copy process from brief to delivery, and ensure accuracy, readability and consistency across Hy-Vee.com, apps, emails, and print materials.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in SEO writing and content optimization.
• Hands-on proficiency with generative AI tools for content development.
• Ability to manage multiple content projects across channels with strong editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging copy tailored to Hy-Vee’s audiences and channels (web, social, emails, newsletters, SMS, print).
• Collaborate with content team, designers and marketing partners to develop original campaigns.
• Manage copy process from brief through drafting, revisions and final delivery.
• Proof and edit content for accuracy, clarity, spelling, grammar and consistency; verify product details and sources.
• Ensure copy tone reflects Hy-Vee's brand voice and supports business goals across print and digital platforms.
• Develop and optimize SEO content using keyword research and on-page best practices.
