Job summary

Hatch Fertility - Surrogacy & Egg Donation in Los Angeles seeks a Content Strategist to own and orchestrate our content ecosystem across SEO, PR, social, and blog.

You'll coordinate with external agencies, drive SEO-led content, manage the editorial calendar, and produce content by writing, AI-assisted drafts, or guiding designers—shipping fast and aligned with business goals.

You’ll measure impact with KPIs, collaborate across teams, and move quickly as a self-starter.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in content strategy, content marketing, or a closely related role.
• Proven experience managing external agencies and/or PR firms as the primary client-side contact.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO — keyword research, content optimization, and translating agency recommendations into action.
• Demonstrated understanding of what performs across major social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube).
• Hands-on fluency with AI content tools and modern marketing platforms.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; able to create publish-ready content yourself.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills; manage multiple workstreams.
• Analytics fluency — GA4, SEO tools, social analytics, and data-driven decisions.
• Self-starter bias for action: you find the work, scope it, and get it moving without heavy direction.

Responsibilities

• Own the content strategy and unified plan connecting SEO, PR, social, and blog.
• Direct our agency and PR partners: briefs, review, and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Drive SEO-led content: keyword strategy, content gaps, on-page optimization, editorial planning.
• Run the editorial calendar across blog, social, and earned media.
• Create content by any means: write it, AI drafts, brief design, or combine approaches.
• Make social work: tailor content to each channel and spot trends.
• Coordinate content releases with Lifecycle Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Specialists.
• Leverage AI and marketing platforms to plan, produce, and distribute content.
• Measure KPIs and build reporting rhythms to inform decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, design, product, sales, and leadership.
