Job summary

Paramount in New York is seeking a Director of Content Strategy & Acquisitions to lead the acquired programming inventory across Paramount Media Networks. You will partner with TV Media Group, Content Acquisitions, Finance and Research to optimize assets and timelines for new acquisitions.

The role is senior and involves managing budgets, renewals, and coordination with scheduling teams, with a focus on delivering executive-ready insights and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in Programming or Content Acquisitions with film/TV knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of acquired programming for Paramount Media Networks.
• Serve as primary point person for internal stakeholders during negotiations.
• Evaluate audience data, perform ROI analyses, and track content investments.
• Administer the programming acquisitions budget and allocate resources.
• Oversee the acquired library and renewal processes; coordinate with scheduling teams.
• Collaborate with Direct-to-Consumer on Showtime content management.
• Distribute deal memos and interpret licensing rights to stakeholders.
• Mentor a Coordinator with day-to-day direction and coaching.
