Job summary

You will help evaluate titles for acquisition, manage multi‑time‑zone schedules, and assist with deal-related documentation. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams, gaining exposure to licensing, rights, and deal economics while producing concise coverage and synopses for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in an executive assistant, coordinator, or administrative support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
• Genuine interest in film, television, or programming acquisitions.
• Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-time-zone scheduling.
• Proactive, resourceful approach; takes initiative on research tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex calendars and scheduling for the Programming department and executives.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and track action items.
• Prepare meeting materials with background information.
• Confidentially handle sensitive legal, commercial, and creative correspondence.
• Monitor and triage incoming communications and route to the right teams.
• Create and distribute agendas for cross-departmental meetings.
• Coordinate executive schedules for film festivals and markets across time zones.
• Develop and update tracking databases for projects.
• Cross-reference and approve invoices against deal terms.
• Research special projects such as music publishing rights and AI licenses.
• Design decks for stakeholders and monthly updates for leadership.
