Job Responsibilities

• Script video, audio, and static ads for various digital platforms, often writing 15s, 10s, and 06s ads, and GIFs, for persuasion and mobilization
• Work with internal and external editors to communicate creative expectations and needs for creative production
• Relay feedback from clients and the internal client team to editors and designers
• Brainstorm conceptual and unique scripts for both shoot and post-production only ads
• Thoroughly QA scripts for grammatical and compliance errors
• Review both static and video ads to make sure they meet the initial needs and creative expectations of scripts
• Review polling and creative briefs to make sure scripts are on message

Qualifications

• At least 4-6 years of experience in a writing and strategy role, with some experience specifically in digital creative production and/or writing. Ideally experienced in political or advocacy work specifically.
• Experience in effectively managing creative processes in an agency or organization setting
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and can help the team prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in script writing for short-form video and static ads
• Proven ability to QA both scripts and creative assets
• Superior project and time management capabilities within a fast-paced, high productivity environment
• Awareness of pre-production, production, and post-production processes for various types of creative projects

This position will be fully remote. Due to the nature of political work, there will be expected evening and weekend hours, especially leading up to November 2026. This is a cycle position that will end on November 30, 2026, with the possibility of full-time based on performance and need. The salary range for the position is between $75,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience. Gambit Strategies also offers company-paid healthcare, vision, and dental insurance and a 3% employer contribution to a 401k plan.
