Job summary

ESPN in Bristol, CT is seeking a Production Coordinator to support day-to-day workforce planning and business operations for the Content division. You will schedule resources, manage contracts, and ensure policy adherence while identifying workflow efficiencies.

Responsibilities include coordinating personnel, reviewing time and expenses, and training teams. You will collaborate with Production, Operations, HR and Legal to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of business, personnel, production, or operations experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication across email, phone, and in-person.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with some guidance.
• Ability to adapt quickly to sensitive production and personnel situations.
• Experience in resource management and business operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Executes workforce planning and business operations for ESPN’s Content division.
• Plans, requests and allocates resources; schedules personnel and facilities; reviews time entry and expenses; tracks paid time off.
• Analyzes content scenarios and creates plans within budgets and processes.
• Maintains knowledge of business processes, workforce guidelines, and resource planning.
• Educates and advises others on policies and processes; promotes adherence.
• Partners with departments (Production, Operations, HR, Legal, vendors).
• Attends stakeholder meetings; represents a neutral party in discussions.
• Develops and enhances technology tools and workflow processes.
• Provides training to team members and new hires as needed.
• Ensures timely completion of projects and tasks.
• Handles confidential materials and complex decisions (budgets, fees).
