Job summary

MGM+ is seeking a Production Operations Coordinator to join our Network Operations team in New York, focusing on coordinating the procurement and delivery of programming content and supporting hardware and software content management. This role combines editorial and technical expertise across asset specifications, archival solutions, and secure media workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Communications, Film/Television Production, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in broadcast operations, digital media operations, or content supply chain management.
• Experience with database or asset management systems.
• Knowledge of film and television formats, deliverables, and ordering processes.
• Knowledge of video file specifications for broadcast and VOD platforms.
• Experience managing and reporting on large volumes of data with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Mac computers and productivity tools (Airtable, Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Support Network Operations in hardware and software development initiatives to drive peak workflow efficiency.
• Serve as liaison with third-party vendors and Post Production teams to ensure compliance with evolving industry standards for video codecs, audio configurations, localization, audio description, graphics, etc.
• Review, modify, and maintain MGM+ asset and delivery specifications to meet business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate the trafficking of program content and promotional materials via secure delivery platforms (Aspera, Box) through the LGA16 restricted-access Secure Media Network
• Manage archival assets utilizing the Iconik PAM Production Management System, ensuring content is organized, accessible, and secure
• Perform Quality Control (QC) management of assets within the Network Operations infrastructure, identifying and escalating issues proactively
• Provide guidance to cross-functional MGM+ teams on hardware and software solutions for content processing that meet Security protocols
• Experience in broadcast operations, digital media operations, or content supply chain management, database or asset management systems, film and television formats, deliverables, and ordering processes
• Managing and reporting on large volumes of data with high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Mac computers and productivity tools (Airtable, Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent)
