Chemical Abstracts Service seeks a detail-oriented Content Operations Support specialist to help ensure data accuracy and timely publication of documents. You will perform clerical and technical tasks under supervision, handle electronic input, editing, and basic data tasks, and collaborate with internal customers across CAS.

Responsibilities include ensuring outputs are in a computer-readable form, maintaining currency and quality standards, and supporting cross-training within the Content

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently on routine assignments.
• Proficient with computers, video conferencing, email, calendar, and office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; eager to learn new software.

Responsabilités

• Performs scanning, data entry, pagination, and supports daily production checks.
• Performs initial bib/abstract data entry for documents.
• Investigates and corrects errors; conducts audits as needed.
• Monitors production work flow to ensure currency and schedules.
• Collaborates with other content operations to support CAS database building.
