Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Content Operation Engineer for a client in Charlotte, NC. This onsite, full-time contract role requires 6+ years in knowledge engineering, enterprise search, content operations, or related technical areas.

You will craft knowledge frameworks, curate and classify content, design ingestion and enrichment pipelines, and work with data, product, and AI engineers to improve search and grounding quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in knowledge engineering, enterprise search, semantic information architecture, or related roles.
• Experience with content operations, data governance, or knowledge management tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, retrieval-augmented generation, and enterprise information architecture.
• Strong analytical skills across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge frameworks such as schemas, taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata structures.
• Curate, normalize, and classify enterprise content from diverse sources.
• Design content pipelines for ingestion, enrichment, deduplication, and versioning.
• Partner with data, product, and AI engineers to improve search, retrieval, and grounding quality.
• Define governance standards for content quality, freshness, lineage, and access control.
• Evaluate knowledge gaps and recommend improvements to AI response accuracy.
• Support prompt, retrieval, and indexing strategies for LLM-based applications.
• Monitor system performance and content feedback loops to continuously improve results.

Duration: 6 + months Contract
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite role)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $ 45 - $ 50 /- per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
