Job Summary
The Content Marketing Manager will be a key member of Cruise Planners’ marketing team, responsible for creating and optimizing compelling content that supports both B2B franchise recruitment and B2C travel marketing initiatives. This role focuses on developing high-converting copy across digital touchpoints, including SEO-optimized blogs, website pages, email campaigns, and digital ads. The goal is to improve our organic search presence and drive lead generation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled writer with a passion for persuasive storytelling, a strong grasp of SEO, and a desire to make a measurable impact. Experience with HubSpot, franchise or travel marketing, and cross-functional collaboration is highly desirable. Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Plan, write, edit, and optimize persuasive content for blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, ads, and website updates
- Develop and manage the editorial calendar for both B2B and B2C content initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify content opportunities that align with marketing goals and campaign themes
- Work with design, social media, and sales teams to ensure messaging consistency across platforms
SEO & Website Optimization
- Conduct keyword research, manage topic clusters, and implement on-page SEO best practices
- Own blog strategy, including planning, writing, publishing, and measuring performance
- Optimize existing web content for search visibility, lead conversion, and improved UX
- Collaborate with web/tech team to enhance SEO elements such as site structure, page speed, and schema markup
Email Marketing & Copywriting
- Write high-converting marketing emails and nurture campaigns that align with buyer journeys for franchise and travel audiences
- Create content for automated workflows using HubSpot and support versioning based on personas and lead stages
- Collaborate with the Sr. Growth Marketing Manager on retargeting strategies and A/B testing ideas
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor and report on content performance using HubSpot, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
- Identify trends and insights to continuously improve content strategy and lead quality
- Provide regular updates on organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, and content engagement metrics
Collaborative & Cross-Functional
- Partner with Franchise Marketing Manager to develop messaging that aligns with brand tone and value propositions
- Work with PR, social, and design teams to incorporate content into broader marketing campaigns
- Help coordinate and occasionally manage freelance writers or vendors to scale content production as needed

Competencies
- CRM, email, digital and marketing automation experience (HubSpot preferred)
- SEO experience (desirable)

- Excellent time management including trafficking projects and meeting multiple deadlines
- Previous franchise marketing/sales experience preferred, but not required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications
- 3-5 years of SEO and/or Content experience
This is a hybrid role (Mondays and Fridays – remote and Tuesdays-Thursdays on-site)
