Job Summary

Tillster is looking for a dedicated content marketing manager to help in brand storytelling, thought leadership, and demand-driving content. We are seeking someone who can build a strong content engine to attract, engage, and convert customers. If storytelling, SEO, and strategy are your superpowers, we need you on our team!

Remote - Must reside in United States
Key Responsibilities
  1. Business & Revenue Generation
    • Develop high-impact content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies) to establish industry authority.
    • Drive inbound marketing and demand generation to convert leads.
    • Enhance SEO to attract high-intent prospects.
    • Support sales with compelling content for lead nurturing.
  2. Customer Attraction & Retention
    • Create engaging, educational content to build trust and loyalty.
    • Improve customer experience with helpful resources and thought leadership.
    • Showcase success stories to reinforce credibility and retention.
  3. Department & Team Operations
    • Maintain brand consistency across all content and channels.
    • Coordinate with demand gen, social media, and product marketing for cohesive campaigns.
    • Provide sales with targeted content to enhance engagement.
    • Streamline content production for efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Own and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring key publish dates are met.
  • Serve as the primary writer, creating content for demand generation, product launches, SEO, and brand awareness.
  • Research and strategize topics for thought leadership content.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics.
  • Develop various content types: blogs, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, ad copy, emails, website content, and more.
  • Follow SEO best practices and content trends.
  • Ensure content reflects Tillster’s brand voice and coordinate with demand gen for distribution.
  • Partner with Sales to align content with target industry needs.
  • Create multimedia content such as videos, testimonials, webinars, and social media assets.
Must Haves
  • 4+ years in a content role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to adapt content style to different channels and audiences.
  • Experience from ideation to final product with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of how to incorporate and utilize Gen AI.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like SimilarWeb, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  • Experience with Email and CMS tools such as Active Campaign, HubSpot.
The Interview Process
  1. Recruiter interview with Talent Acquisition.
  2. Interview with VP, B2B Marketing & Demand Generation.
  3. Final interview with the CMO.
Pay and Benefits (USA)
  • Base salary: $95,000 - $110,000, with total compensation based on criteria and policies.
  • Equity participation via Stock Option Plan.
  • Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, and additional programs.
  • Ten paid holidays per year.
  • PTO starting at 15 days, increasing with tenure.
  • 401(k) retirement plan eligibility.
  • Educational and development programs.
