Job summary

MAQ Software in Redmond, WA seeks a Content Marketing Editor/Writer to craft and refine content across case studies, website copy, blogs, and customer success stories focused on Microsoft technologies. You will validate terminology with SMEs and partners, ensure SEO-aligned content, and manage website updates and social posts.

You will collaborate with engineering and marketing teams, coordinate campaigns and events, and contribute to content strategy ideation to boost awareness of MAQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Marketing or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in content creation and/or editing.
• Strong command of English with exceptional grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Ability to write clearly for diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Word, graphics editors and other MS technologies.
• Experience managing social media content calendars.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Editing – write and edit case studies, website copy and blogs with SEO in mind.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Research & Validation – fact-check content and align with Microsoft terminology.
• Website Content Management – update product pages and customer stories, monitor performance.
• Social Media & Campaign Support – craft short-form posts and manage posting schedule.
• Event & Convention Support – assist pre/post event content, booth materials, logistics.
• Content Strategy & Ideation – generate ideas from industry trends and product updates.
