Job summary

Foreign Objects is seeking a part-time, in-person host for live shopping broadcasts in our Los Angeles studio. We value raw energy, a natural presence, and the ability to engage audiences; no prior hosting experience is required, as training will be provided.

You will host broadcasts, interact with viewers in real time, present products, improvise, and build on-camera skills with ongoing opportunities for growth and additional hosting opportunities based on performance.

Foreign Objects is hiring extremely outgoing, charismatic personalities to host live shopping broadcasts from our Los Angeles studio.

We’re not looking for industry experts or polished professional hosts. We’re looking for people with raw personality, energy, confidence, and presence.

The people who do best in this role are naturally social — the person who walks into a room and immediately starts talking to everyone. You love meeting new people, making people laugh, telling stories, and being the center of attention.

If that's you, we can teach you everything else.

THE ROLE

You’ll host live shopping broadcasts, interact with viewers in real time, present products, improvise, entertain, and learn how to become a great live-commerce host.

This is a part-time, fully in-person position in Los Angeles.

COMPENSATION: Approximately $30–$60/hour based on performance, including hourly pay and performance incentives. Strong performers receive additional hosting opportunities and hours.

You’ll receive hands-on training and significant on-camera experience, with regular opportunities to build your skills and develop experience and footage for your reel.
