Job summary

GN Hearing / ReSound is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Marketing and Communications team in Shakopee. You will collect, create and distribute content that supports business objectives, culture and brand reputation for internal and external audiences.

You will manage an internal news bureau, develop a content calendar, and coordinate communications across US and global teams, including customers and patients. Hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Editorial management: plan, curate, schedule comms across platforms for varied audiences.
• Content creation: strong writing/editing; video content experience essential.
• Audience awareness: research, interview, report topics benefiting employees/customers.
• Channel proficiency: experience with intranets, email platforms, CMS, digital publishing tools.
• Business acumen: translate strategy for broad employee audience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an internal “news bureau” to develop content for diverse audiences.
• Support and coordinate Shakopee and US employee communications activities.
• Develop and manage a continuous content calendar aligned to content pillars and campaigns.
• Coordinate communications for GN/ReSound customers (hearing care professionals).
• Review communication processes and recommend improvements.
• Support US, North America and global communication initiatives and campaigns.
• Write, edit, and produce content for internal and external channels; video content.
• Collaborate with HR, Product R&D, Operations, and other functions on communications.
