Job summary

Milton Academy is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support content creation and distribution across all divisions. You will help develop digital content, manage calendars, and collaborate with senior staff to tell the Milton story and engage key audiences.

Responsibilities include creating emails, newsletters, and multimedia materials; overseeing content strategy with the creative content team; and supporting events and communications with alumni and parents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.) and general content creation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and basic CMS.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute content across divisions and departments, including emails, newsletters, marketing collateral, multimedia projects, and other materials.
• Execute content strategy with senior staff to tell Milton’s story and strengthen key audience relationships.
• Develop and manage content calendars, track engagement, and report analytics.
• Create digital content for Milton’s website, intranet, social media, newsletters, and other platforms; manage posting and audience engagement.
• Support event communications, cover internal and fundraising events, and capture basic photo/video content with a smartphone.
• Act as communications liaison to campus partners, alumni, parents, and the Advancement team.
