Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily inventory needs from the team and prepare materials.
• Visually inspect rolls for damage and discard damaged paper appropriately.
• Monitor raw materials for quality and line-up; adjust as needed.
• Thread machine, make splices, and re-thread as required.
• Change pallets and attach proper tags to completed pallets.
• Complete computer work and paper work; set up rolls for oncoming crew.
• Maintain regular attendance and safety compliance.

Make sure machine is running properly at all times. This opening is for D1. # ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :• Obtain daily inventory needs from Phenolic Checker or Team Lead• Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can• Continually monitor raw materials for visual quality and line-up, make any necessary adjustments • Thread machine up; make splices and re-thread machine as needed• Change out pallets and make sure corresponding tags are placed in each completed pallet• Make sure all computer work and paper work is completed• Set up rolls for oncoming crew• Regular Attendance Required # KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:• Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.• Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the Production areas and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards. # MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**EDUCATION:** High School Graduate or GED **EXPERIENCE:** Have at least 6 months Contech experience. If no applicants possess, the company will accept one (1) year experience in Phenolic/Core area. # WORKING CONDITIONS**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** Heavy work.
