Digital Consultants in Quantico, VA is seeking a Containerized Applications Specialist SME Software Engineer to help mission teams convert apps to a containerized paradigm and prepare them for SCC A-compliant deployment.

Hybrid schedule, Top Secret/SCI clearance required, 10+ years in secure software development across full-stack domains, and experience with Docker, CI/CD, and service-mesh tools. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in secure full-stack development and containerized apps.
• Experience with container configuration IAC and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with service mesh and discovery tools (HashiCorp Consul, Zookeeper, AWS Cloud Map).
• Experience with secure credential management (BitWarden, HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault).
• Ability to apply software engineering across languages/OS/hosting and guide teams across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Assist mission application developers with converting applications to a containerization-oriented paradigm.
• Structure applications for readiness in SCC A-compliant environments and ensure deployment readiness.
• Ensure compatibility with tools and technologies for deployment across environments.
• Provide guidance to Mission Application developers to enable implementation-agnostic development.
