GCA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Containerized Applications Specialist to support NCIS in Quantico, VA. The role emphasizes secure software development, containerization, and modern deployment in SCCA‑compliant environments.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with on‑site support about 1–2 days per week, aligning with mission requirements. Candidates should have extensive container experience and strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Expert‑level experience in secure software development across full‑stack enterprise applications, with emphasis on containerization.
• Expertise developing, configuring, and maintaining containerized applications, including Dockerfiles and IaC configurations.
• Experience integrating container development with source control and CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with service discovery and service mesh technologies (e.g., Consul, ZooKeeper, AWS Cloud Map).
• Secure credential and secrets management using Vault or Key Vault.

Aufgaben

• Convert existing enterprise applications into containerized architectures for modernization.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain containerized components using Docker and IaC tools.
• Manage Dockerfiles and CI/CD configurations to enable repeatable deployments.
• Integrate container development with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Support secure software development across multi-OS environments and databases.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and system engineers to ensure secure, portable deployments.
