Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Hand Sorter to join our warehouse operations. You will hand-sort returnable plastic containers, reclaim customer-owned materials, and help meet production goals with a focus on safety and quality. Training is provided for forklift operation, and a team-oriented, fast-paced environment awaits.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those with prior warehouse experience and pallet jack familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.
• Team player in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Hand-sort RPCs (returnable plastic containers) by manufacturer and quality standards.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care.
• Meet production goals while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to support PTZ goals.
• May operate a forklift safely; certification provided.

What You’ll Do:

• Hand-sort RPCs (returnable plastic containers) accurately based on manufacturer and quality standards.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care and precision.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to help us achieve our Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals.
• Support your team with other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You Bring:

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a warehouse or production-based environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
