Job summary

Rehrig Pacific in Joliet, IL is seeking a Break Pack (Box) Sorter for a Friday-Sunday shift (6:00am–6:30pm). You will hand-sort Break Pack containers and reclaim customer-owned materials, aiming to meet production goals with strict safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have pallet jack familiarity, can lift up to 70 lbs, and bring experience from a production-based warehouse. Training for forklift may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in production-based warehouse or manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Hand-sort Break Pack containers based on quality via visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care and accuracy.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Follow safety protocols to support PTZ goals.
• Support team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Hand-sort Break Pack containers (boxes) based on quality through visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care and accuracy.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help us achieve our Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals.
• Support your team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You Bring

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
