First Security Bank Bozeman is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to support lenders with loan portfolio administration and documentation. You will assist with new loan applications, insurance verifications, and collateral documentation, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes professional client interaction, cross-selling bank products, and timely processing in a team-focused environment. Strong accuracy, organization, and familiarity with loan systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain loan processes clearly in writing and verbally.
• Knowledge of consumer lending practices, credit structure, loan products and services.
• Proficient with computers and software (Word/Excel); typing accuracy target 50 wpm.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of bank experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist branch staff with consumer loan applications and information collection from borrowers.
• Represent the bank professionally; maintain confidentiality and customer privacy.
• Greet customers and handle inquiries; promote bank products and services.
• Assist with data entry, loan coding, and HMDA data in LOS.
• Prepare loan documents, perform VIN searches, and pull credit reports as needed.
• Ensure all loan checklists are completed and logs maintained.
• Collaborate with Loan Servicing to close loans timely.
