Job summary

Patelco Credit Union in Dublin, CA is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to manage a pipeline of auto, unsecured and secured loans and credit cards. You will work with Underwriters, Branches, and the Member Contact Center to ensure accurate funding and compliant processing.

The role requires strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding Patelco’s core values of service, integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience in consumer or mortgage lending preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant banking regulations and Patelco policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of consumer lending products including auto, unsecured and secured loans and credit cards.
• Serve as member liaison during fulfillment, providing timely updates.
• Compute income from bank statements and tax returns; verify employment.
• Communicate document and data requirements clearly to fulfill loans.
• Read and interpret credit reports to inform member discussions.
• Ensure loan terms comply with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Obtain DMV forms to record liens and update titles as needed.
• Review approved loan terms with members prior to funding.
• Identify irregularities as part of fraud prevention.
