Job summary

EastRise Federal Credit Union in Vermont seeks a detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to support the Consumer Lending team with processing, funding, closing and post-close audits, while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and federal regulations.

You will prepare closing documents, verify funding and signatures, assist with indirect and green lending, manage member communications, and contribute to process improvements and accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review loan requests for all products to ensure documents are generated and sent for execution via mail, fax or DocuSign.
• Process, close, and fund consumer, green and indirect loan products with high accuracy and disburse payments.
• Verify details, funding, and documentation; identify and address potential fraud; serve as subject matter expert.
• Troubleshoot with members regarding signing documents.
• Achieve personal MRD goals and seek process improvements to advance EastRise agendas.
• Assist with the knowledge base, communicate with management to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
• Monitor lending emails and communications; upload documents and obtain signatures; liaise with members, dealers, vendors.
• Serve as a resource for branch staff and closing support for departments as needed.
• Comply with all policies and regulations including Reg Z, Military Lending Act, Patriot Act, BSA, OFAC.
