Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corp. is seeking a Consumer Loan Closer to prepare, review, and finalize consumer loan documents, ensuring accurate closings and compliance. You will collaborate with Underwriters and Relationship Managers to resolve discrepancies and expedite funding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending, loan terms, credit underwriting, and consumer lending regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-closing file review for quality check and determination that all pre-closing requirements have been met.
• Prepare and generate loan documents following established processes and regulations.
• Coordinate closings with borrowers for electronic closings or with Relationship Managers for in-person closings.
• Perform post-closing file review to ensure documents are executed correctly and post-closing requirements met.
• Coordinate bookings and fundings with Loan Operations Department.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of loan documentation.
• Ensure adherence to policies and service level agreements; support affiliated charters.
